Chord Overstreet is back on Glee!

It seems to be the time when all fan favourites return to the shows they’ve recently departed from. Chord Overstreet will be returning to Glee after having departed recenlty this year from the musical phenomenon that is the musical show.
A loved character, Sam Evans, played by Overstreet has departed the show early in the third season after he declined staying on the show without a guarantee that he will become a series regular. This lack of commitment from the producers had made the 22 year old actor decide that he should pursue his musical career.
His departure had the fans crying all over the world, but the producers decided to give them an early Christmas present – Sam Evans will return as a character of the show just in time for the sectionals. Good thing they didn’t kill him off, eh? There is still no word as to how long his stay on the show will be this time, but for the sake of fangirls and fanboys worldwide, it had better be a long one.
Before his character left the show he was building a romance with Mercedes, perhaps his return will give the Fin-Rachel relationship, affectionately nicknamed by fans Finchel, a run for its money.
Before joining Glee, Overstreet has had only occasional appearances on tv shows such as iCarly, Glee being his ticket to fame. The fan hysteria surrounding his character was so great that when his departure was announced from the show and entire campaign was launched to avoid this.
It probably paid since he is no on a return path. Let’s see if the storylines his character will get will be enough to keep the fans happy and Chord employed for longer on the show.
