Misha is back, but good bye Mark! (Supernatural)

Sera Gamble, the show runner of Supernatural has made the fans incredibly happy with the news that their favourite angel will be returning to the show. Castiel, played by Misha Collins, will return in the future episodes of the show.

After his heartbreaking departure in a previous episode of the show’s 7th season, the fan backlash has been huge, probably leading the powers that be to reconsider his removal from the Supernatural line-up.

The good news has made social network sites such as Twitter and Tumblr explode with joy over the announcement, even if said joy was muted by another update from Sera. Mark Pellegrino who plays Lucifer in the same show won’t be returning anytime soon. He was previously seen as a hallucination of Sam (Jared Padalecki) on the show. Pellegrino’s character, Lucifer, will take a back seat as Sam solves his issues with everything that has been going on during the past six years.

Some good and some bad, but most fans – who proudly claim they are part of the Supernatural fandom – are still loyal to the show, even though it had entered in its seventh year and had a rocky sixth season that had the fans divided, mostly due to Sera Gamble’s involvement after Erik Kripke’s departure.

Perhaps the return of Misha Collins, a fan favourite in the show and at the comic-cons, will bring some balance to the volatile relationship the show-runner has had with fans so far.

Only time will tell if this news is indeed true or another attempt to keep the fans appeased while the show moves in a new direction.

Stay tuned for more updates on Supernatural and let us know how you feel about the return of Castiel – good call or cop-out from Sera?
